January 2012: Happy new year everyone :-) Lets just say that 2012 will be the year for yellowpaperlyrics.com.

Silas Siphan is still making his way to radiostations around the world. More stations in USA. Some in the UK and now Germany. He has found a steady place at #5 on the national Rock Chart on ReverbNation.

Yellowpaperlyrics has made lyrics for San in Goa, India. Its a Hindi song with some english lyrics.  

 December 2011: Silas Siphan is making his up these days. Recieving airplay in USA, England and back home in Denmark. Pay him a visit here at ReverbNation - he is currently #1 on the local Rock Chart and #33 on the national Rock Chart.

November 2011: The other day I realized that I've got loads of writings filling up my drawers....What to do? I decided to have a "SALE". October 2011 - 2nd Edition: The video for "Shine" is ready for you.....and has been for some time. The video is filmed and edited by me :-) I used Windows Movie Maker for both videos I made so far ("Shooting Star" and "Shine"). I love working with the graphic side of the music and have decided to move up on the software. I just installed Sony Vegas Platinium HD on my pc with the intention to make more videos.

October 2011: The new single, "Shine", from Silas Siphan is out now. The song is a co-write. Lyrics by: Silas Siphan and Palle H. Jakobsen - Music by: Silas Siphan.

May 2011: VintherMusic Publishing has placed a song with danish lyrics ("Sig det højt" - "Say it out loud") with the artist Vibe Lauth. The song will appear on her coming album. The music is composed by Anders Carstensen.

April 2011: Shooting Star is getting airplay on serveral danish radiostations right now ;-)

Anders C and yellowpaperlyrics has landed yet another contract with Vinthermusic Publishing.

February 2011:    Yellowpaperlyrics and Anders C has been offered a contract for the traditional pop-song. If it works out we'll sign with Vinthermusic Publishing in the near future.

January 2011: First of all - Merry X-mas and happy new year......better late than never.

Cph - here we come. Silas Siphan and I are going to CS Studio in Copenhagen to record 2 (maybe 3) songs for the coming EP. We decided to give it 2 days - 25th -26th of february. Silaz' american co-writer Lisa Swain Bennett has agreed to be part of the project. Silas decided to use 2 of her lyrics for the 6 song EP.

November 2010: This week Silas Siphan will sent the next track, Shooting Star, to Christoffer Stjerne i Cph. Later Silas Siphan will decide if he will go to Cph to record vocal and guitar or he will wait and make it a 3-song recording trip.

Anders C and I have decided to look for collaboration in Sweden. Anders is trying to find a suitable singer/translator to make a swedish version of our traditional pop-song.  

My good friend, Hans York, is touring like never before. The album, Young Amelia is still praised with phenominal reviews, and is seen at the top of the charts.

February-October 2010: Something is happening....Silas Siphan is back again. Copenhagen-based producer Christoffer Stjerne has agreed to work on the "SILAS SIPHAN Ep project". First track to go through his hands is "Shine" - and I can tell you great things will happen.......

I havent heard any news from my Indian friend San the last couple of weeks. He has sent me some rough mixes of some of our songs - but nothing is finished yet.

I started collaborating with Copenhagen-based musician/producer Jesper Buch. He is trying to find a suitable singer for pop/R'n'B project. We've got two songs - but no singer. Jesper is working hard to find the right candidate.

Last year I wrote danish lyrics to a traditional popmelodi made by Anders Carstensen. Anders found the time to record a demo. Now I am trying to find a danceband who will adobt the song. 

September - February 2010: Still very quiet.....and I am starting to itch. My collaboration with Ulrik Horsmark resulted in 2 songs. We sent them to the Eurovision SongContest but they did'nt make it through to the show. Our plan is to write some more songs together.

The collaboration with San.music official & authorized is still active. I hope to have some news on that very soon.

March-September 2009: Its been quiet the last few months. I've been writing on a childrens book - just to keep my pen sharp........A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by my old friend from school, Ulrik Horsmark. We wrote some songs back in the late ninetees and decided to give it another go. I'll keep you updated.

January/February 2009: Naya's track "When we are together" appears on a new release called 100 Best Dance Vol. 3 - Heres a link to CD-VOW! Ireland.

I've been contacted by lyricist Derek Graham from Middelsborough, UK. He just recently started writing but his already a skilled writer. Check out Derek Graham at ISound. I decided to share his talent with you. "All I really need" is for you to enjoy :-)

November/December 2008: Yellowpaperlyrics has written lyrics for 5 songs to San.music official & authorized coming album. Its a multi collaborate with artist from around the world. More info about San.music official & authorized - follow the link below. Happy new year to you all.

September/October 2008:Yellowpaperlyrics has agreed to write lyrics for composer/producer San's upcoming Sony/BMG release. I'll keep you updated.

July/August 2008: The news keep coming from overthere. Hans York has signed a deal with Burnside Distribution so now the album is available at Barnes&Noble, Borders and other recordstores across the U.S of A.

June 2008 : .....and he did it :-) Hans York won Kerrville Folk Festival 2008 with 2 songs - one of them is "Tell me Why" Follow the link put in the May News entry.

May 2008: Hans York is a Kerrville Folk Festival 2008 Finalist. He was chosen as one of the 32 to play. There was 800 entries :-) He entered with the songs "Tell me Why" and "Letting Go". He'll be playing at the festival June 1. Follow this link to Kerrville......
